Our beautiful home features three shared rooms, modern bathrooms, and cozy common areas for group activities. We also have a huge backyard area if you need some fresh air or a quiet place to relax.

Dr. Araz Tawfique, M.D. is an award-winning, Board Certified psychiatrist in La Jolla, CA with over ten years of experience working with people of diverse needs. He pursued his true passion for psychiatry and completed his psychiatric residency training at the University of Reno, Las Vegas. A San Diego native, he returned to Southern California to receive additional training in mental health, and start his private practice. His specialties are psychiatry and psychotherapy, which are techniques that facilitate a better understanding of thoughts, feelings, and motivations. His approach explores the interplay of biology, psychology, and sociology in shaping individuals and their relationships.
Dr. Tawfique’s experience includes delivering comprehensive addiction treatment at substance abuse centers in San Diego.

A mental health crisis can happen at any time, which is why we offer around-the-clock crisis intervention services. Our team of highly trained professionals are available to provide support and treatment whenever it may be needed, 24/7.
Our team uses a combination of medical, therapeutic, and holistic approaches to stabilize and address mental health symptoms in a safe and effective manner. Clients also have the option to transition to a lower level of care which is residential treatment at the same Capo Beach facility.
Clients stay for an average of 7-21 days, and often transition to Residential Mental Health Treatment (RTC) to continue their care.
Having a strong support network is essential for maintaining good mental health. That’s why we offer various group activities to help individuals connect with others in recovery.
We offer educational sessions like life skills training, anger management coaching, and coping strategies, as well as holistic practices like art therapy and yoga. Experiential outings are also integrated in the treatment programs.
We ensure that every single day is planned thoughtfully with activities and sessions that are specifically designed to result in a well-rounded treatment program.
The average stay ranges from 7 to 21 days, depending on the evaluation and mental health condition. After assessment, transitioning to residential mental health treatment is available at the Capo Beach facility.
We prioritize daily communication with families within 72 hours of admission (ideally within 24 hours). In cases of weekend admissions, we make contact on the next business day to keep you informed.
Our facility provides 24/7 monitoring to address any issues, including severe episodes that may arise during nighttime hours.
Yes, if necessary, we offer Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) as a part of our comprehensive treatment approach.
